Letter to Glenda Jackson – Please Sign EDM 961: Competition Commission Supermarket Enquiry

March 23, 2007

Dear Glenda Jackson,

I’m writing to direct your attention to EDM 961: Competition Commission Supermarket Inquiry. The purpose of this motion is to ask the government to regulate against the abuse of power by supermarkets in order to halt the decline of small, local businesses and to support a sustainable UK farming sector / food supply chain.

I believe this to be a step in the right direction: towards a model of corporate accountability that would be applicable across all industries and truly beneficial to society as a whole, starting with the grocery market. I therefore strongly urge you to sign this motion.

Yours sincerely,

Seth Mowshowitz
